The final game of the initial round robin sees Hena taking Tau against Marines.

The marines placed both Terminator units in reserve ready to teleport. Assault white
and brown mounted up in T'hawk-1.
Tau loaded up Broadside Black in the orca and both stealth formations are set to
teleport.

White Terminators appear just out of site of the over watching broadsides, with no
blast markers.
Stealth black appear in the central wood with one blast marker.
Brown Terminators appear on the other side of the castle again clean
Initiative - Marines
Terminators brown sustain fire at the AMHC with the orders to concentrate on the
skyray. 5 hits kill one hammerhead and the skyray is destroyed as well.
Terminators white are ordered to retain and engage the broadsides. The mighty
battlesuits open fire as the veterans close, but can't hit the marines. After a
brief melee only one broadside is destroyed and the tau go into the roll off at +1,
and win by 4! The remaining two terminators retreat to the edge of the wood
broken.
Knowing that the marines outpace the tau, the Shas'O orders the stealth’s to take
out the landspeeders. Both formation being scouts cause a problem and the stealth’s
have to take a clipping position in the open with range to 2 speeders, The overwatch
shots miss but the only hit caused by the stealth’s is saved. They jet pack back into
the wood.
Crisis brown retain and extract a bloody vengeance by sustaining at terminators
brown. 8 normal and 3 MW hits see's the terminators wiped out. I should have
placed the terminators further back as they would still have been able to shoot the
AMHC as planned
Preparing for the orca Thunderbolt-1 go on CAP.
The empty Thunderhawk-2 retains and enters the battlefield to take a long range shot
at the AMHC. It misses.
Barracuda-1 are put onto CAP, ready for any more imperial air activations.
Warhound-2 advances and brings the stealth's into range of its vulcan mega bolter.
3 hits fail to break through the tough scout suits.
The AMHC now marshal, but don't move or shoot and remove all the blast markers they
had obtained.
The Devastator formation goes onto overwatch to guard the blitz.
Barracuda-2 fly in to attack the broken terminators. 1 hit fails to break thought
the terminators massive armour.
Warhound-1 doubles forward and enters the wood on the western edge. It nearly trips
into a tree but is saved by its walker reroll!
The orca is called in to ground assault, the order has to be confirmed by the Shas'O
and the flyer positions itself to land by the western woods. However it fails to
notice the approach of Thunderbolts-1 from their CAP orbit. 2 hits cause the flyer
to come apart dropping the monstrous broadside brown to their death. The orca
flak missed, then the t'bolts hit twice and no saves made. I'd not noticed that the
orca was a 4+ save as I've never used one. I'd assumed 5+RA
Thunderbolt-2 are ordered to ground attack but confusion reigns at the forward
airfield and the planes stay on the ground.
The Shas'O decides that a static defence is best and sets overwatch.
Thunderhawk-1 enters the battlefield to strafe the stealth’s. As it stays in the AA
umbrella of the hunters Barracuda-1 decide not to intercept. The only hit caused is
again saved by the scouts armour.
The orbit of the Hero final brings the battlefield into its view. Both missiles
streak down to hit Warhound-2. 2 shields and 2 points of damage later and the broken
titan runs back to the marine baseline to try and regroup.
End Phase.
Barracuda-1 remain at their CAP station and Barracuda-2 leave with no BM.
Thunerbolt-1 have to leave by the western edge so depart with 2 BM. Both
Thunderhawks depart with no BM.

Stealth brown arrive in front of the Devs. One bm is generated.
Initiative - Marines (both sides roll a 1!)
Thunderhawk-1 swoops in to deliver its cargo of assault marines. Just as it is about to land the CAPing Barracudas enter range and let fly. The hunter lets fly a missile that hits one barracuda but its armour keep the plane in the air. Their shooting only manages to hit the thunderhawk once, whose armour is up to the job and no damage is done. The assault marines leap into combat bringing all the stealth into base to base. The stealth can't hit the fast moving marines, who manage 6 hits and the thunderhawk adds two more. 3 stealth die. The dev's now open up in support causing 2 more hits and one casualty. At +7 to the marines it’s all over when the tau roll 2,2. The assault marines move apart so as not to be intermingled.
The initiative is retained and Warhound-2 advances back to take on stealth black again. This time it uses all its weapons. 2 AP and 1 MW hit only manage to kill one unit!
Stealth black elect to marshal. They stay put and remove all their blast markers.
Thunderbolt-2 are ordered into the air. The fly deep into tau territory and shoot at the broadsides. 2 hits manage to kill one of the suits.

Dev's check their positions then settle back into overwatch.

The landspeeders advance and take aim at stealth black. The melta guns slag down two units of stealth. This breaks the formation and they flea deep into marine territory and take shelter in some buildings.
Barracuda-2 approach to intercept Thunderbolt-2. One shot destroys one imperial flyer as the desperate manoeuvres of the pilot can't save it.
Thunderhawk-2 approaches and fires all its weapons at the broken stealth black. The lone hit is saved but one more unit is removed.
Shas'O is tired of his troops progress and decides to show how it is done. They double forward and unleash a torrent of fire at the landspeeders. 2 AP and 2 MW hits destroy 4 of the speeders. The lone survivor heads off and parks near the eastern marine objective.
Warhound-1 leaves the woods and target's the Shas'O. All weapons are used with 2 AP and 2 MW hits scored. 3 suits die and the broken Shas'O heads for the central woods in marine territory.
Crisis brown double forward into the woods vacated by the warhound. They fire at the warhound but only manage to drop its void shields.
Thunderbolts-1 try to ground attack but the pressure of the flak from last turn forces them to stand down. The threats from the supreme commander can't even motivate them!
Terminators white advance through the trees and take a pot shot at the broadsides. No hits are scored.
End Phase
Barracuda-1 leave with 1 bm and barracuda-2 leave with none.
Thunderbolts leave with 3 bm. Thunderhawk-2 leaves clean while thunderhawk-1 leaves with 1 bm.

AMHC are ordered to advance but refuse!. They move to make sure the blitz is defended.

Barracuda-1 try to ground attack but confusion with the death of the Shas'O causes them to stand down.
Thunderhawk-2 ground attacks crisis brown. 2 hits are scored but the crisis suit armour is up to the task.
Barracuda-2 do as ordered and ground attack warhound-1. One hit doesn't damage the warhound and it breaks forward deep into the tau half.
Thunderbolt-1 ground attack hitting stealth black. No hits are scored leaving one solitary unit left.
The broadsides elect to marshal and two have a pot shot at the broken warhound-1. One hit is saved and the battlesuits remove their blast markers.
Thunderhawk-2 enters the battlefield to attack crisis brown. The tetra is the only casualty but the formation is broken and moves into the cover of the wood were the Shas'O had been.
The lone survivor of thunderbolt-2 flies on to attack crisis brown. No hits leaves them with 3 crisis units.
Assault white march to control the eastern marine objective.

The dev's remain on overwatch

Barracuda-2 have to fly through the hunters flak umbrella. It manages another hit but they tau fighters many to jink away from the explosion and escape.
All marine flyers leave without blast markers.
